💙 Celebrate the New School Year with Our Alderwood Welcome Back Family Picnic💙

Our Family Picnic is a special tradition that most families attend. If you’re not able to join us, we kindly encourage you to talk with your child ahead of time and, if possible, help them make a plan to sit with a family friend.

📅 Friday, September 4 • 12:00–12:45 PM

Here are a few important picnic reminders by grade:

Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten
 🍎 Come to the front office to sign your student out if you’re attending.
⏰ Pick-up begins at 11:45 AM.

1st–3rd Grade Parents
 ✅ Check-in at the office is not required.
🚪 Pick up your student at their classroom’s outside door starting at 11:55 AM.
🎒 Students will return to class after the picnic.
📝 Want your child to leave early? You’ll need to check them out at the front office after the picnic.
🚫 Students are not permitted to leave without being checked out through the front office.

4th–6th Grade
 ✅ Check-in at the office is not required.
🌳 Students will meet families on the blacktop or grass area starting at 12:00 PM.
📍 Please make a plan with your student so they know where to find you.
📝 Want your child to leave early? You’ll need to check them out at the front office after the picnic.
