Dear Alderwood Families,

I want to say a big “thank you” to everyone who has helped make this school year so special so far. On behalf of the PTA, I truly appreciate all your support for our school’s events and programs.

Winter Bowl:

A huge thank you to all the students who took part in the Winter Bowl. We are so proud of you! We also want to thank the parents who helped coach our teams. Your time and effort are very important to our community. A special thank you to Alexander Hsu, who plays on the Uni High School football team. Alexander, your help with the younger players means a lot to us. We are very grateful for your support! Special thanks to Steve Tsai for leading the Tournament of Champions. Your energy and help made this event a big success! We also want to thank the following parents who coached our teams:

Talent Show:

I want to thank Nisha Ganatra, our Talent Show Chair, for organizing such an amazing event. Special thanks to Shoko Kadowaki, who helped behind the scenes, and to Army Abiera, our Talent Show Director. You all helped make the Talent Show a huge success, and we are so thankful for your hard work!

We also want to thank all the volunteers and parents who helped with the Talent Show, TOC, and other events. Without your help, these events wouldn’t be possible!

Generous Contribution:

Thanks to your generous donations, we have sent $20,000 to the school. This is part of our promise to fund for our important programs such as field trips.

We missed you at the general meeting, but we had a great talk with Officer Gramer, who shared important information about school safety.

Also, don’t forget that the Jog-A-Thon kickoff is this Thursday! Our goal is to raise $80,000. Together, we can reach this goal and make Alderwood an even better place for our children to learn and grow. Thank you again for all your time, support, and generosity. Together, we are making Alderwood a special place. I am so proud to be part of this wonderful community!

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and parents on a very successful Winter Bowl!

The 4th-grade Boys team won the championship, the 5th-grade Boys reached the semifinals, and the 6th-grade Boys reached the finals. The 3rd/4th-grade Girls team also won the tournament, and the 5th/6th-grade Girls competed in the finals.

We had a sold-out Talent Show. Bravo! to all the performers and volunteers!
