Dear Alderwood Families,

As your PTA president, I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea for your support. We have just 9 days left in our Fall Pledge Drive, and we need your help to reach our goal of $45,000! Once we achieve this goal, the entire school will celebrate with a fun family picnic.

This school year, the PTA needs to raise a total of $112,500 to fulfill all our commitments to support every student. The $45,000 we’re aiming for in the Fall Pledge represents only 40% of our overall goal for this school year. Your contributions are crucial to helping us achieve this target, and every donation will be spent on enhancing our programs for this school year.

Current Status:

• Goal is $45,000 for the family picnic. Total raised: $31,805 (about 70% of the Fall Pledge goal) from 149 families. If 350 families make a donation of  $38 each, we can make this celebration a reality!
• Tax donation letters are available for donations greater than $75. 

Why Your Contribution Matters:

Every contribution is vital to maintaining the quality of our programs. If we don’t reach our goal, we may have to ask parents to contribute directly to each program to ensure they continue. Your support helps us avoid this situation and keeps our school thriving. Families who contribute at the Silver and Gold Tier will receive an invitation to a fun pirate-themed party, complete with a feast with our captain, Mrs. Cheshire! Your contributions support vital programs, including:

• Educational field trips for all grades
• Exciting assemblies and enrichment programs
• Up to $550 toward classroom materials and supplies
• Staff support for PE and guidance counseling
