Volunteer Spotlight
Mona Kilani

For the past 7 years, I have dedicated my life to being a devoted mother to my 2 little angels. Balancing the challenges of motherhood finding time for working out and my passion for cooking. I have found fulfilment in being there for my loved one at all times and milestones…and being part of the PTA is important for me to be more present and help out as much as I can! Motherhood has been my passion and greatest accomplishment, and I have no regrets about the choices I have made.

Tabitha Chieh-Hsu

I love being a part of the Alderwood community! I was Room Parent for my daughter’s class last year, and decided to volunteer again for Room Parent for my son’s class this school year. From getting to know the teachers and fellow parents to spending more time in the classroom with the kids, I find it all very rewarding.

Richard House

Hello! My name is Richard House and this is our first year at Alderwood. We moved to Quail Hill last summer after spending 7 years in Japan. Our two boys, Ryan (6th) and Kaiyo (4th), are really enjoying Alderwood. I volunteered at Run Club to help spread fun and joy to the kids while they exercised. When you're having fun, it feels less like work. I am thankful for all the bright, smiling faces I got to meet and work with this year. It was a pleasure working with the kids. We had a lot of fun and I hope we can continue that into the future! Let's go Owls!!!
