Weekly Newsletter #24 - February 21, 2024
President's Corner

Your involvement is the key to our success as we embark on our journey to raise an additional $42,000. Each dollar contributed will directly impact your child's learning experience this school year. Our ultimate goal is to raise $85,000, covering essential expenses like field trips, PE equipment, the guidance counselor, PBIS enrichment, Imagination Machine, in-school assemblies, and more.

In the words of Maya Angelou, "Nothing will work unless you do." Now is the perfect moment to contemplate your donation, and together, we can make 2024 a year filled with achievements and community happiness for all our students! Join us by signing up on PledgeStar today and become an integral part of this fantastic Jog-A-Thon. Using this link: https://www.pledgestar.com/alderwood/

Share the PledgeStar link on your social media platforms with family members, turning it into a family and friends support network for every student. With only 2 more weeks remaining, your support is crucial, and every donation, no matter the size, adds up.

* We already had two announcements for prize drawings for our winners. Follow us on our social media @alderwoodpta

* Parents, please reach out to your room parents for class project details, making your class sign for the Jog-A-Thon day.

* Please consider volunteering for the day of the event. Sign up here

* Our goal is to have at least one Bronze-level sponsor in each class; parents only pay $100 instead of $250.

Last but not least, our Run Club practice begins next week. Please refer to the team page for practice times, important announcements, and any latest updates.

The Alderwood PTA Election for the 2024-2025 Executive Board will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The Nominating Committee has proposed the following slate:
