As your PTA President, I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for your support in making a positive change: let's reduce our paper usage. We appreciate your understanding regarding our initial use of envelopes and we strongly encourage parents to consider purchasing the upcoming Alderwood Zip-It coin bag, which will be available soon. Your support and adoption of this option will greatly benefit our efforts. Why? Because it's more than just a coin bag; it's a smart choice for our environment. By using it to hold your Jamba Tickets, we're not just organizing; we're teaching our children to be environmentally conscious.

{Flashback to the 80s Fall Pledge}

We're excited to invite you to Alderwood PTA International Night – a fun celebration of different cultures coming together. If you missed our info meeting, don't worry; you can get the presentation slides by request.

As of September 6th, these countries are joining us: Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. But we'd love to have even more countries represented, like those in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and South America. If you're interested, just fill out this quick {Google Form}.

To make sure this event runs smoothly, we're asking for a small $5 fee per person. This money won't be used for fundraising; it'll cover things like plates, utensils, performances, custodial services, decorations, and incentives for each country tables. If your family is hosting a country table, you don't need to pay the $5 fee!

We also have some volunteer spots available, like event photographers, and general helpers. {Sign up here} if you'd like to pitch in.
