Dear Alderwood Families,

On behalf of the PTA board, I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support, participation, and volunteering to make these events a success.

Jog-A-Thon

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the Jog-A-Thon and helped make it a wonderful event! Your involvement created a positive and fun atmosphere that made the day unforgettable. We would also like to thank the incredible team who has supported us so far in making this event a truly special experience for our students. Your hard work and dedication helped bring everything together, and we are so grateful for your efforts. 

A big thank you to all the parents who made generous donations. We are close to reaching our fundraising goal but still need your help! Here’s where we stand:

• Total Raised So Far: $69,940

• Goal: $80,000

• Remaining to Reach Goal: $10,060

Every donation counts, big or small, and brings us closer to our goal. Thank you for your support—let’s reach our target and celebrate with a school-wide family picnic on March 28th!

Important: Envelopes will be sent home in your student’s Thursday folder tomorrow if you want to include cash donations. Please return the envelope by Monday, March 24th. Since the Jog-A-Thon was rescheduled to the 19th, you still have time to return your envelope.

Hoops Classic

We are also incredibly proud of every student who participated in the TOC Hoops Classic, showcasing their skills and proudly representing Alderwood. 

A special thank you to our dedicated coaches, Quincy Zhan, Henri Tartt, Josh Hiller, Kulbir Singh, and Firas Shbeeb, who helped and encouraged our students.  We also want to thank Steve Tsai, who led the Tournament of Champions with significant dedication. 

As I’ve shared before, our community is very special. It’s not just about our events but about the wonderful families supporting our students, teachers, and school. Your help and involvement make Alderwood a great place, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 

Yearbook Reminder

Please email your student’s picture from past events to yearbook@alderwoodpta.com and include your student’s grade and teacher’s name. We want to make sure every student is included in the yearbook!
