International Night & Book Fair: A Celebration of Unity, Culture, and Literacy

We are beyond grateful for the incredible sense of unity and collaboration that made this year’s Book Fair and International Night truly unforgettable. These events were a powerful reminder of the richness, diversity, and love for learning within our community, and they couldn’t have happened without the remarkable dedication of our country leads, volunteers, and chairs.

A special thanks to our Book Fair Chairs, Charla Batey and Lauren Lee, who courageously kicked off the school year with the Book Fair, one of the most beloved events for our children. The Book Fair was brought to you by the PTA and made possible through the hard work and dedication of our fantastic co-chairs and volunteers.

We also want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Unju Rogers, whose passion for bringing people together truly shined during International Night. Her leadership and commitment to celebrating our differences united the community in a way that everyone felt truly special. Unju, you were born to build connections and foster a sense of belonging, and we are so grateful for your role in making this event a success.

We Need Your Help to Keep PTA Programs Alive!

Throughout the school year, our goal is to bring enriching and valuable programs to all of our students. As shown in the image below, we need to raise $112,500 to support these important initiatives. From educational events to exciting extracurricular activities, these programs are designed to enhance the learning experience for all our students.

First, we want to thank everyone who has contributed so far and helped us raise $21,000. Your generosity has brought us closer to our goal, but we still have a long way to go.

We kindly ask all parents to keep an eye out for the second donation envelope going home in your child’s Thursday folder on October 10th.

We need your help to achieve our fundraising goal by October 31st.

Every donation, whether big or small, makes a difference in providing these enriching programs for our kids.

Unfortunately, without your participation, the PTA will have no choice but to cancel many of these events. These programs are extras that make a huge difference for our children, and they simply cannot happen without your donations.

Let’s show our children what we can achieve when we come together as a community!

Warm regards,

Mahsheed Hosseini

Fall Pledge Update

Current Status: So far, 103 families have generously contributed $21,000.

  • Initial Goal:

    • To reach our goal of $45,000, we need more families to participate.

    • If 500 families each contribute $48, we’ll hit our target and celebrate with a family picnic!

  • Mega Goal:

    • If we surpass that and reach our mega goal of $65,000, with donations of $88 from 500 families, we’ll celebrate with a fun outdoor movie night!

Last Call for Reflections!

All students are invited to participate and submit original artwork in one of six areas: Dance Choreography, Literature, Photography, Film Production, Music Composition, and Visual Arts.

(Students can enter more than one category, but entries are limited to one per category.)
